Fall: Enjoy the beautiful fall colors! Upper Michigan is blessed to have many lovely rivers, woods, and waterfalls to enjoy while taking in breath-taking backdrops of fall colors. Peak colors: late September/early October. |
Winter: Snow is plentiful here! We average over 200" of it every winter. Jump on the snowmobile trail located one block north of the Keystone Kottage or drive to one of the three ski hills within 7 miles to enjoy it. Snowshoeing and x-country skiing are also nearby. |
Spring: Fish the Black River located one block west of the Keystone Kottage vacation home, go smelting at Lake Superior, or kayak the rapids of the Black River! | ![]() |
Summer: Your summer at Keystone Kottage is full of potential! Relax in Ramsay, enjoy the week-long 4th of July festivities of the local communities, drive to over a dozen nearby waterfalls, pick agates at Lake Superior, charter a fishing boat, drive to the Porcupine Mountains, visit Lake of the Clouds, or just swing on the hammock on the front porch. |
